Toasted Seeds & Nuts

A simple way to toast seeds and nuts in the oven. I keep a jar in the fridge and add them to salads, soups, or anything that wants a little crunch.
Ingredients
- —Seeds or nuts — pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts
- —Sea salt (optional)
Directions
- 1.Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- 2.Spread the seeds or nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- 3.Toast until golden and fragrant, about 10–15 minutes. Start checking around 10 minutes.
- 4.Remove from the oven and let cool on the pan.
Notes
Store in a jar in the fridge; they keep well for a couple of weeks. I usually only salt the sunflower seeds.
