Toasted Seeds & Nuts

A simple way to toast seeds and nuts in the oven. I keep a jar in the fridge and add them to salads, soups, or anything that wants a little crunch.

Ingredients

  • Seeds or nuts — pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts
  • Sea salt (optional)

Directions

  1. 1.Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. 2.Spread the seeds or nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. 3.Toast until golden and fragrant, about 10–15 minutes. Start checking around 10 minutes.
  4. 4.Remove from the oven and let cool on the pan.

Notes

Store in a jar in the fridge; they keep well for a couple of weeks. I usually only salt the sunflower seeds.
